2. The contract
2.1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to registration on kortyolo.hu, the purchase of event tickets and gift vouchers, and participation in events.
2.2. The contract is in Hungarian, is concluded electronically, does not constitute a written contract, and will not be filed. Your details are available in your account and in the confirmation email. We have not adopted a code of conduct.
2.3. The General Terms and Conditions must be accepted by ticking the relevant box at the time of registration and when placing an order. Any amendments will be published at least 8 days before they come into effect; contracts already concluded shall be governed by the previous General Terms and Conditions.
3. Registration
3.1. Only registered users may purchase tickets and gift vouchers. Only persons aged 18 or over are eligible to register. Only one account may be created per email address; it is also possible to register using a Google or Facebook account.
3.2. The user must provide accurate details and keep their password confidential. In the event of misuse, we may suspend the account.
3.3. The account can be deleted at any time via the account management section or by email; data required to be retained by law (such as invoices) will remain stored thereafter.
4. Events and tickets
4.1. The event page lists the date, venue, programme, price, capacity and details of what the ticket includes in terms of tastings, drinks or food. The images may be for illustrative purposes only.
4.2. The ticket is an e-ticket with a QR code, which we will send by email and which can also be downloaded from your account. Each code can only be used once. The ticket may be transferred free of charge to another adult until the start of the event; commercial resale is prohibited.
4.3. As alcoholic drinks are served at our events, only those aged 18 and over may attend; we may ask for proof of age. We reserve the right to refuse service to or exclude from the event any person who is intoxicated or causing a disturbance; in such cases, the ticket price will not be refunded. Driving is prohibited after consuming alcohol. The venue’s house rules also apply.
4.4. Please let us know of any food allergies or dietary requirements when placing your order; we will endeavour to accommodate these as far as the venue’s facilities allow.
5. Ordering and payment
5.1. Steps in the ordering process: log in → select event and ticket number → enter billing details and any voucher code → summary (all details can be amended here) → accept the General Terms and Conditions → ‘Place order with payment obligation’ button → payment via the Barion platform.
5.2. The contract comes into effect upon receipt of the confirmation email following successful payment. If the confirmation is not received within 48 hours, the customer is released from the order and the amount paid will be refunded.
5.3. Prices are quoted in forints and represent the total amount payable. Payment can be made via the Barion Payment Zrt. platform using a bank card or a Barion wallet; card details are processed solely by Barion. In the event of an obvious pricing error, the customer may purchase the item at the correct price or receive a full refund.
5.4. Once payment has been received, we will send an electronic invoice, which can also be downloaded from your account. The date of performance shown on the ticket invoice is the date of the event; if this changes, we will cancel the invoice and issue a new one.
6. Withdrawal and cancellation
6.1. Note: The consumer is not entitled to the 14-day right of withdrawal because the contract relates to a leisure service provided on a specific date (Government Decree No. 45/2014. (II. 26.) Government Decree, Section 29(1)(l)).
6.2. Cancellation by the customer: the ticket price is non-refundable, but
- the ticket may be transferred to another person, or
- If the customer informs us at least [48 hours] before the start that they are unable to attend, we will credit the ticket price once towards another event taking place within [3 months].
6.3. If we cancel the event, or if there is a significant change to the date or venue, we will notify you by email, and you may choose between a full refund within 14 days or a credit note for another event. If you do not make a choice within 8 days, we will refund the price. Replacing the items tasted with items of similar quality does not constitute a material change.
6.4. Gift voucher: the consumer may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase, without giving any reason, provided that the voucher has not yet been used. Withdrawal can be made via the ‘Withdraw from the contract’ function in your account, or by sending a statement to info@kortyolo.hu. We will confirm the withdrawal by email and refund the price within 14 days using the original payment method.
